This is a good one. Has a very good, elaborate plot, and the actors are good as well. I just had many “why’s” towards the end. But definitely worth the time.

Director: Sang-ho Yeon
Stars: Yoo Gong, Soo-an Kim, Yu-mi Jeong

While a zombie-virus breaks out in South Korea, a couple of passengers struggle to survive on the train from Seoul to Busan.

When I saw the trailer, I knew I just had to see this one. Good thing they released it on the Philippines sooner. I waited for over two weeks to see it, and I went to see it all by myself. The movie is sooooooo good. Haven’t watched such thriller film in a while. Just when you thought every idea about zombie movies have been extracted, Korea gives a fresh new take on the genre.

Director: Alejandro González Iñárritu
Stars: Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hardy, Will Poulter

A frontiersman on a fur trading expedition in the 1820s fights for survival after being mauled by a bear and left for dead by members of his own hunting team.

Watched this on IMAX. 4D. It was very cold inside the moviehouse we felt like we’re right in the middle of the snow with Leo.

Superb acting from DiCaprio as always.
