I’ve seen a few Korean dramas in the past year and by far this is the most non-sensical of all. I gave the drama countless of chances because maybe it’s gonna get better in the next episode, but it didn’t. It never got better.

The characters are so petty. The female lead has these petty issues and was portrayed as a failure (being a psychiatrist was her only strength it seemed). It seemed like a character assassination really. Something’s off with the female lead probably because they don’t have chemistry. Meanwhile, the male lead is a god who became powerless in the mortal world. Come on, you already have supernatural characters, why not make the most out of them. But clearly, the creators didn’t want that. They wasted characters that should have had more potential had they had a better plot/script. saw it. The second leads and other supporting characters were better at acting. Thank you Krystal, for blessing the drama with your goddess-ly aesthetics.

Each episode literally put me to sleep each night. I gave up after seeing 3 episodes but i forced myself to keep watching because there might be something interesting that’d going to happen in the next episodes. I even ranted about it to my friends but I still finished it ’til the end because it would bother me if I didn’t finish it (yep, I am that type of person). It was a torture. I felt scammed. But I had “nothing” else to watch, heh. Additionally, even the technicalities (camera angles) were flawed.

Okay, why did I watch this in the first place? Because it stars Nam Joo Hyuk and I like Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo (not particularly his acting but they were cute in this romcom). And also because the trailer was good, I thought it’s probably going to be comparable with Goblin, but no. Sorry, Joo Hyuk, you’re cute but this drama sucks.

Pambata. While the two leads are getting along, gumaganda din ang hair ni girl. At nung magiging sila na, maganda~~ na si girl dahil wala nang braces. Sus. Obviously, I was bored haha.
