Train to Busan (2016)

Busanhaeng (original title)

Director: Sang-ho Yeon
Stars: Yoo Gong, Soo-an Kim, Yu-mi Jeong

While a zombie-virus breaks out in South Korea, a couple of passengers struggle to survive on the train from Seoul to Busan.

When I saw the trailer, I knew I just had to see this one. Good thing they released it on the Philippines sooner. I waited for over two weeks to see it, and I went to see it all by myself. The movie is sooooooo good. Haven’t watched such thriller film in a while. Just when you thought every idea about zombie movies have been extracted, Korea gives a fresh new take on the genre.

  1. I watched it 3 days after it’s premier, same as you, alone. I usually don’t watch movies alone since I hate feeling like a loner, but this movie made me watch it despite not having a companion.

It was really worth it. Gad… I was just embarrassed walking out of the movie house with my eyes all red and puffy. LOL!
