Taxi Driver (1976)

Director: Martin Scorsese
Stars: Robert De Niro, Jodie Foster, Cybill Shepherd

A mentally unstable Vietnam war veteran works as a nighttime taxi driver in New York City where the perceived decadence and sleaze feeds his urge to violently lash out, attempting to save a teenage prostitute in the process.

Initially, I wanted to see this for the very young (adn cute! Jodie Foster. I had it in my files for months now, and I didn’t know why I kept it there for so long. It’s a wonderful film! Great visuals, great acting! It’s so artsy. I love it!
